Hello!  Let me start off by saying congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!  Now, a little about the company and myself; my name is Tabitha Fitch, I started Empty Canvas Photography in 2011, in Rapid City SD.  I've been in love with photography since I was 13.  I took photography all through high school- I even took additional courses by doing night classes to earn extra credits (so I took 6 years worth of classes in 4).  I know how to develop film and pictures - B&W film is a passion in itself!  There's something special about the feel of creating a picture that way.  It brings a whole new level to photography.

I started Empty Canvas Photography because I want my passion to be my life and I want to be able to capture those beautiful moments in peoples lives and give them a still frame of that moment - the way I see it.  There's so much joy out there and photography is the best way to capture it.  Allow me to share in your big day with you and capture those beautiful, joyous moments for you, to enjoy for the rest of your life!

What sets me apart from the other, numerous, companies out there is my passion for the art, my enjoyment in the activity, and the way I interact and bond with my couples, their friends and family.  Getting to meet all the new couples and the people important to them is half the joy of the job.

I live in Rapid City with my husband, Dan, our 3 dogs and 6 cats.  Yes, you read that right - 6 cats lol.  We love our animals so much, they're definitely family in every way that matters!  We bought our house last year and are working on remodeling.  I moved here in 2010, but my husband grew up in Hill City.  I volunteer services and donate to The Charm Farm Animal Refuge in Box Elder regularly - I feel they are a huge asset to our community!

The Black Hills are a beautiful place to live and to get married; we have so many gorgeous venues out here.
